Pensacola Computers Presents how to tether your Motorola Xoom Android 3 tablet to a DroidX using the free Wireless Tether app. This will work on phones that have the ‘ability’ to create a wireless hotspot but do not have the Verizon hotspot plan.

I have a iphone that i use to to tether with pdanet but every time I use it it dose not show up on the motorola xoom’s wifi but I can still use it on the computer to tether.

  2. pdanet uses an adohoc connection which is not recognized by the Xoom or a number of other tablets, I have no problem using wifi-tether with the Xoom, but even better, I can just bluetooth my Droid X to my Xoom which doesn’t require me to do anything on my phone once the devices are paired – I just activate the tether link on my Xoom and I am good to go.

The wireless tether app is not available anymore. Is there anothern option.
