Pensacola Computers presents: We show you how to tether your Motorola Xoom tablet running Android 3 Honeycomb, to a Droid X via built in Bluetooth. This ‘should’ work on some other Android phones as well and they shouldn’t need to be rooted in order for this to work.

    much appreciated.

Hi ! Great video on bluetooth DroidX and Xoom without having to root either device.. Do you by chance know if that might work with a Blackberry Playbook and a DroidX. And without needing a tethering contract.. Or do you have any idea how I could find out.. Thanks again for a nice video.. Bill

I’m ready to spring for a Xoom! If I tether to my Sprint EVO 4, should I buy the WI FI only version or can I buy the WiFi & 3 G model? It is only about 150.00 difference. A sales rep at best buy said their Xooms had verizon chips inside them and would only work in 3 G if you buy into their contract.
